Waterfront Mixed Use

The WMX Zoning District is intended to create and establish regulations for a waterfront mixed-use district that will allow waterfront shopping and services, and other activities and residential development implementing the Waterfront and Vallejo Station Planned Development Master Plan (Waterfront PDMP). Design and development standards will create a pedestrian-oriented environment that is seamlessly integrates the waterfront with downtown. Public access to the shoreline must be provided where development is adjacent to the Mare Island Strait as provided in state and Bay Conservation Development Commission requirements.
