The purpose of C-C zone is to provide a wide range of retail stores, restaurants, hotels and motels, commercial recreation, personal services, business services and financial services and for limited office and residential uses. The purpose of R-H zone is to provide appropriately located areas for high density multiple family dwelling units consistent with the General Plan and with standards of public health and safety established by the Turlock Municipal Code, Provide affordable housing for all economic segments of the community and conserve land while maintaining a compact urban form, Provide adequate light, air, privacy, and open space for each dwelling unit and protect residents from the harmful effects of excessive noise, population density, traffic congestion, and other adverse environmental impacts, Achieve design compatibility through the use of site development standards.
