The purpose of the Medium Density Residential District is to accommodate medium density urban residential developments such as duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes while preserving more open space than in the Multiple-Family Residential District. Development to a density of one unit per less than two acres must be served by paved roads and public water. Development to a density of one unit per one-third acre or less must be served by public sewer.
