West End Mixed Use Specific Plan
The purpose of WE-MU(SP) district intended for the development of a compatible mix of land uses including commercial, light industrial, offices and residential, such uses may include specialized service commercial uses, a hotel, educational facility and eating establishments as well as multi family residential units and this mix of uses will also be compatible with the adjacent BP and LI zones by providing a variety of goods and services as well as housing opportunities within close proximity to each other, thereby fostering pedestrian oriented activity, The standards for any base zone may be modified by the addition of the Specific Plan (SP) designation. This designation indicates that the land is controlled by a formally adopted Specific Plan which may impose zoning or development standards that are more or less restrictive than those specified by the SVMC
