Residential Mixed Use Zone Special Planning Folsom Boulevard East
The purpose of the RMX zone is to allow a mix of residential and commercial uses as a matter of right, and to preserve the residential character of neighborhoods while encouraging the development of neighborhood-oriented ground-floor retail and service uses. The goals of the Folsom Boulevard East SPD are to attract a greater mix of land uses to the area, maintain and improve the character, quality, and vitality of the area within the Folsom Boulevard East SPD and ensure compatibility between new non residential uses within the area and the surrounding residential uses and schools.
