Heavy Manufacturing Planned Development
The purpose of the M-2 zone is to provide areas for industrial uses that are primarily outdoor or within specialized structures that may involve general manufacturing, processing, and fabrication activities, including outdoor storage and manufacturing, that are specifically excluded from other industrial zones and which do not require highly restrictive performance and development standards in regard to adjoining uses and PD designation is intended to insure the orderly development of land in conformance with the general plan of the city and to permit departures from the restrictions imposed within the base zone
