HC

The HC designation is applied to the downtown area of the City where the bulk of the commercial activities are related to tourism and the buildings are historic. Proposed uses in the HC land use designation would include any use allowed in the Limited Commercial and Professional Office designations along with retail or wholesale stores or businesses not involving any kind of manufacture, processing or treatment of products other than that which is clearly incidental to the retail business conducted on the premises. Residential uses are allowed within this designation.
