The purpose of the R-S zone is to provide land areas for the use and occupancy of single-unit detached dwellings and accessory dwelling units. It is the intent of this zone to promote a range of single-unit product types on larger parcels, as well as provide for the allowance of animal keeping under specific guidelines and operating standards. The residential density range for this zone is zero to two dwelling units per net acre. The planned unit development zone is intended to allow for innovative design and diversification in the relationship of various uses, buildings, structures, lot sizes and open space while ensuring substantial compliance with the general plan and the intent of the municipal code
